Duties and Responsibilities:
Environmental health specialists monitor health and safety conditions in residential, industrial, commercial, and recreational settings. In addition, a person who works as an environmental health specialist may also be called an environmental health or safety inspector, or a health and safety specialist. The main responsibilities of the position are to determine the existence of possible health hazards and to take steps to correct them. To make is a better environment for all the people.

Salary:
As of Jan 2016 the average pay for an Environmental Health Specialist is $ 21.22 an hour and the yearly salary is about $45,783 .

Education:
You need your bachelors degree in order to become a Environmental Health Specialist. You also are required to have 1-3 years of professional experience .
