Register Nurse ( R.N.)
Duties
& Responsibilities: RNs perform a wide variety of job duties
during their shifts, caring for and educating patients about their conditions,
as well as establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their
families.
Salary: A Registered Nurse (RN) earns an average wage of $27.03 per
hour.
Education: RN education degree requirements range from a diploma to a
bachelor's degree. Diploma
programs are offered at hospitals and
typically last three years. Associate's
degrees in nursing are offered at community
colleges and take two to three years to complete.
So to become an R.N it is a total of six to
seven years of school.
Demand for this profession (job outlook):
From 2014 to 2024 will be 16% more faster than the average

Reflection : I personally think that I would very much love this
profession because I am actually looking forward to becoming one in the future .
One of my choices is this medical career pathway. Another reason i would like becoming
an R.N is because since most of my family members are working within the
medical field I feel more sure about doing this in my future since I have heard
so much about it .
