Statement
Abraham Lincoln
“ When I do good , I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. “
This quote means like if a person accomplishes something bad they’ll
get something bad in return for it for example if my parents let me go out with
my friends and tell me to be home at a
certain time but I refuse to and I get back home at the time I want , I’ll feel
bad about what I chose to do that day and now they are not going to let me go
out at all . On the contrary like Mr. Lincoln says “ When I do good , I feel
good “ this statement would mean good so another example would be like if I had
a test coming up but I decide to get ahead and study a week before to earn a
passing grade I chose the right to do good and I will certainly earn an A on my
test . Its always best to choose the good because it’ll be more beneficial for
you and your decisions. You’ll probably have more freedom with your parents and
earn good grades at school so that your parents let you do the fun things like
going out with friends to the parks , fairs , library , and to a friends house
.
