Reflection~This quote by Alan Paton is inspiring because it is very true. In life you can never heal quickly when you do not forgive what happened. You healing is depended on whether you forgive to forget or do not forgive at all. If you forgive you are more likely to heal way more faster than a person who does not forgive. If you remain hurt that will just affect you. You have to learn to forgive in order to feel free. Forgiving is not an easy thing to do but if it's for you own good to forgive then you should forgive. After you forgive you will feel relieved. Without forgiveness there's no way you can live your happy. Remember forgiving is a big part of your life. For example, if your friend asked you for a favor but you couldn’t do it for them and they stay hurt with anger in them that would mean they didn’t forgive. But if that friend decides to understand you and forgive you for the favor you couldn’t make them then that's a true friend because they didn't just understand you but they also were able to forgive you. In life it is not always good to get hurt but the good thing about getting hurt is being able to forgive. Forgiving is the most important thing about healing. Without forgiveness you will never be able to forget.

“Memorial Day”

What is memorial day ?

Memorial day is observed usually on the last Monday in May. It was known as the Decoration Day it is a day in which we honor all the women and men who died in the military service for the United States.

When is it? Memorial Day is on the 29th of May this year, this holiday falls on a Monday.

What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Memorial Day?

A few ways to show honor is by visiting cemeteries in where a relative was buried. This day is somewhat seen as the start of summer season. We can show honor by flying the flag of the U.S. during midnight and lastly we can show respect by also visiting memorials.

Interests about Memorial Day~

-IT WAS FIRST KNOWN AS DECORATION DAY.

The holiday was long known as Decoration Day for the practice of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths, and flags. The name Memorial Day goes back to 1882, but the older name didn't disappear until after World War II. Federal law declared "Memorial Day" the official name in 1967.

• Families reunite in order to show honor and respect.
• Visiting a relative’s grave is the most righteous thing you can do on Memorial Day.

What are a few things I would do show both honor and respect on Memorial Day?

On Memorial Day, some things I’d do in order to show honor and respect to those men and women that have passed away is visiting a nearby National Park that contains monuments and making wise choices during this long three day weekend.

Reflection~ I think that this holiday is a very good and respectful way of showing respect, honor and most importantly love to those who once served the military for the U.S but are now resting in peace. A day like this one should not be taken for granted by anyone. On this very special day which should be taken seriously by anyone i think that people should actually visit cemeteries and decorate a friend or relative’s grave to represent their honor.During this long Memorial Day weekend I think that people should drive carefully. I also think that this day is very special but also personal to many. I think this day is also a day in which we remember those who were severely injured and those who survived. I feel this day is a very sad day for many families. Since many loved ones passed away this exact day. Although, it is a very sad day we can have  fun by visiting a family member’s grave.

“Do Right”

Quote~ “ Dare to do right.” by Rex D. Pinegar

Reflection~ This quote by Rex D. Pinegar means that if you are ever dared by someone else you should only do the dare if it is a right thing to do. If you dare someone else you should  never make them do a bad dare because that will only get you into trouble. If you’re  ever going to dare someone in your life make sure you dare them to only do good things that are right , this is the main message about this quote by Rex D. Pinegar. In life you should never dare anyone to do bad things because the end result will also affect your life not just the person you dared. A reason why you should not dare others to do bad things is because you do not want to ruin your life nor anybody else’s by making the wrong choices. An example would like if you’re at your friend’s house and your friend dared you take a drug so you end up listening to your friend then not only will it hurt you also all your family and your friends family too it will only make you get into trouble. Making the wrong choices just to seem cool in front of your friends can also mean putting your life at risk. In this case you can end up in a hospital bed or maybe even dead just because you decided to take the drug your friend offered you. Even if you’re  trying to fit in you should always know what you’re  doing. Never take your life for granted. Choose the right friends and make wise choices in your life. If you ever dare someone just like Rex D. Pinegar said remember to “Dare to do right.”Daring to do right will make you a better person and will help you develop as a successful person. Daring to do right things will guarantee you a great life.

Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities~ Surgeons prepare for procedures,review medical files,meet with patients to discuss the surgery that will be done.The most important role that has to be performed accurately is in the operating room.

Salary~  The median salary of a Surgeon is $366,605 as of April 27,2017 according to the Penn State.

Education~in order to become a Surgeon you must first complete an undergraduate degree program in either chemistry or biology, complete undergraduate school, and then you must complete four years of medical school and a three year residency.

Demand for this profession~14% in 2014

Reflection~ I would like to become a Surgeon because I admire working with people, helping people with any medical related issues, and making people feel better. I also would like to become Surgeon because the amount made early is a pretty good amount in my perspective. Lastly I would become a Surgeon because I know that many hospitals are in need of Surgeons so finding a job would be easy.

Reflection~ This quote to me means that when I set goals if I keep achieving them by putting in all my dedication and effort that will guarantee me being a successful young lady in my future. This quote is inspirational because it motivates people to set goals and accomplish them.When I set goal I am determined about it because I love to feel proud once I accomplish that goal. Setting goals in my life are easy than accomplishing them because it takes a lot from you in order to accomplish them. I am the type of person that does not give up once I my mindset is focused on achieving a certain goal. An example of this quote is like I set a goal to earn an A in my math class I will do everything I have to to earn that grade. Some things I would do are study for tests, ask questions, go to tutoring, and earn good scores on projects. Those things will guide me into being more successful and will also help me earn that A. Once I earn that A, I have accomplished another goal. Anyone can set goals but what matters are the things you do at the end to either accomplish it or not. Setting goals plays a big important role in this life because many of us would not be successful if we don't set goals for us to accomplish.

Career~ Doctor

*Part of becoming a Doctor requires you earning a doctoral degree in medicine and participating in clinical rotations.

Duties and Responsibilities~A doctor provides their patients with data they need in order for the patient to choose a treatment after they are examined by the doctor. Medical doctors examine,diagnose, and treat patients. They are able to specialize in a variety of medical areas.

Salary~ $187,200 annually for a medical doctor/

$90 hourly

Education~ In general doctors have to complete a 4-year undergraduate degree program, and spend about 4 years in medical school, and then complete 3-7 years of residency training before they are eligible for medical licensing.

Reflection~ I think that I would like to become a Doctor because within our medical field we are in need of more Doctors. I would also like to become a Doctor because I love helping people who are in need.helping others makes me a better person. Reflection~

These success tips are the best ones due to the reason that if you follow them they will lead you into choosing the right your whole entire life.Working hard will really guarantee you a bright future because your hard work will always pay off. Following your passions will make a great successful person because once you set a goal you are committed to accomplish it and accomplishing a goal is another way of making the best out of your life.When you choose to help others the help you will later need will come towards you. Since you helped others you will get paid back with the same or even better things. An example, of the tip “Work hard” that I have done is making it to the Gold List in school for my grades. For this goal; I had to overcome many obstacles in order to make my way to the gold list. Some of the obstacles I had to overcome were staying up late just to finish homework assignments, study for tests, and working on projects. I was able to proudly work hard and my hard work really paid off. Another example is that when you set a goal you want to accomplish you go for it and in my life the person who I admire is my mother she proved to me that when you set a goal in your life you should never give up. My mother went to school and studied to become a CNA and she finished school, graduated, and earned her state license as a CNA. She passed both exams and her hard work also paid off. I was really proud of her. Now she is working at a Home Care Center for the elderly. She loves what she does. Since that day she really has motivated me to go farther in my life. It is important to chase your dreams especially those you really want accomplish. Chasing dreams is amazing when you can accomplish them.
