Reflection~ This quote means that the only way a person will have freedom and true independence is by doing what is right their is no other way through it than choosing the right path. You can start choosing the right path by your actions like being a positive person and not doing drugs. The best freedom you can ever have is being yourself for example not trying to fit in with other people who make the wrong choices.Freedom is basically being you with nobodies permission. You can simply have the freedom you deserve by choosing the right. It is simple when it comes to making the right choices for you and your life. An example of this quote would be like when you have a certain curfew with your parents you need to be a responsible child and get home at that time not later.If you have a curfew you should follow that curfew so that your parents give you more freedom and so that you become more independent. If you get home late your parents will not give you freedom. You should never deny freedom to anyone else because we all deserve the freedom that we have. A lot of people don't like freedom because it takes lots of responsibility but you should give up and not try. Freedom is a big part of our life’s.

Reflection- This quote means that being a cheater is not good at all. This quote defines why cheating isn’t a good thing. When you cheat once you will forever remain recognized as a cheater because that will be the way others will see you. When you cheat once everyone will be against you and your future choices. A big part of a person’s life is knowing how to not be a cheater. An example, of this quote would be a student in class who is taking a test and decides to take steroids right before he is going to take it this will define him as a big bad cheater because he chose to do the wrong thing by taking a drug. This will ruin his health, get him into trouble with his parents and even make him get suspended from school. This will make this student be seen as a cheater forever it follow him into his future. This will affect his future in many ways because he decided to be a cheater. Then no college will want him. His future career maybe ruined and he won’t be able to get a job and support his family. Being a cheater is something horrible to ever be in your life. You should never be a cheater because it will follow you. Being a cheater will affect your whole life. When you cheat it will be harder for you to not cheat again since you have been a cheater before.

Health Volunteer Opportunities~

Bilingual Volunteer- This individual is required to at least speak one or more languages and know how to translate.This volunteer is needed at Kaiser Permanente. Minimum two to four hours is required. Age requirement is from 14-17 years of age.This organization will work with the individual’s schedule. The hourly pay is average 8.50.

Patient Care Volunteer- This individual is responsible to help the nurses with patients. This individual needs to be friendly,caring,and have a positive attitude This individual should be a great person and have patience for those patients. This student is required to at least attend two days out of the week and do 2-4 hours. The pay is about $8.50 an hour. This volunteer is needed at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Age required is 16 years old.

Maintenance Volunteer- This volunteer will help keep the Kaiser Medical Center clean by helping out the employer’s who are in charge of the cleaning. This student has to be at least 16 years of age and have at least a 2.5 GPA or higher. This student needs at least 4 hours and needs to attend at least 3 days out of the week.

Reflection~ This quote by Dale Murphy to means choose the right in your life so that you won’t be recognized as a cheater. Don’t take shortcuts in your life that might lead to problems and only get you into trouble. For example, there are people who run marathons fairly but there are also those who take drugs before their big day and that right there is cheating. It can hurt their health but also it can affect their future career as a marathon runner. You shouldn't cheat because it isn't your hard work. Hard work pays off when it is done by you and no one else.  You will never regret working hard but if you cheat that is something you will regret. When you cheat the only person you’re truly cheating on is yourself. Doesn't matter when or how you cheat because any type will still bring you consequences. Cheating at school isn't being successful and it will not get you far in life. Another example would be cheating on a science test at school by peeking over to your classmates test. This will get you in huge trouble with your parents,teachers,and even your principal it may get you suspended from school or even from all districts so really cheating is never going to be a good thing. You should think before you cheat, think about the consequences behind you cheating. Cheating feels awful at last. You shouldn't lie, or cheat to anyone because it is really you cheating on yourself. I personally think cheating is the worst thing to do at school or anywhere else. Cheating will affect your life. A last example of cheating is when you have finals in college and you decide to take advantage by taking a picture of the answer key when you have a substitute and send it to your friends this will get you expelled from college and then no colleges will want you because you are known as a cheater.

Reflection~ Character matters most because it is what really counts in a person. Without our character we wouldn’t really be anyone. Character is needed anywhere. A person’s character plays a big role in their life. Character matters when you are socializing with friends or family, character matters at a job interview, character matters when you’re meeting new people and making friends. Character is really a part of our everyday life. Character makes you who you are inside and out. You can’t have a bad character and have good things in your life. In order to earn good you need a great character.For example, when i had my first interview I was expected to have a great character and be positive so that good outcomes would result like getting the job and passing my interview. At this interview it was important for me to have character because without it I wouldn’t be able to communicate with the professor. Having character benefits you in many ways for example since I had good character at my first interview my results were positive I got accepted to the internship. Having character and being honored for it feels good.

Who was St.Patrick’s ? St.Patrick was the patron saint of Ireland which is one of the Christianity’s most widely known figures. This holiday honors his death, and it bears his name. St.Patrick’s life still remains as a mystery today. St.Patrick was born in Britain. His parents were rich near the fourth century. He died on March 17 around 460 A.D.

What is the purpose of St.Patrick’s Day ? The purpose of this particular holiday is to celebrate the Roman Catholic feast day of the patron of Ireland.

Why is St.Patrick’s Day designated and when is it ?

Because it is to honor St. Patrick and also to provide relief to the Irish immigrants in the city. This are the reasons the U.S. mainly celebrates this day.

Why a certain color on St.Patrick’s Day ?

The green color was to bring nonsectarian, republican ideas to Ireland, inspired by both the French and American Revolution. This color was chosen by the Society of United Irishmen because during the French Revolution this color was mainly worn by the soldiers.

Other information of interest: St Patrick has become a popular holiday in the United States. Most people, whether they are Irish or not, wear green on this day. One of the Irish traditions is to pinch anyone who is not wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day. Anyone can join this celebration.Irish immigrants began observing the holiday in Boston in 1737 and the first St. Patrick’s Day parade was held in New York City in 1766.
